Excellent iron. Heats up incredibly quick and emits a beep when ready. Temperature is very very hot. I like the fact that it shuts off after 30 minutes if unused, though I haven't tested this feature.

this is straightener is fabulous for unmanageable, thick, wavy, long, and poofy hair like mine. the ghd styles my hair in half the time it took me to do it with my chi (which i disliked) and it keeps hair soft and smooth. It also has great safety features, like it turns it self into sleep mode if you dont use it for 30 minutes, which is great. i for sure would recommend this to anyone. i had used this product for months and months (i used a friend of mines) and then finally got one for myself. this iron is costly, but 100% worth it!!

this is hands down the best flat iron I have ever used. I am a stylist and was a big Chi user. The quality is so much better than with a Chi. It leaves the hair so shiny and the automatic heat adjustment is great. it detects the texture of hair you are working with the temp adjusts accordingly. it is a great iron

i have had this GHD for about four in a half years. it is literally AMAZING. i want a new one so i have my own and my mom has her own, but i just cant stop using it. i love it. my hair is frizzy/wavy and it makes my hair so soft and my mom has curly coarse hair, and she even gets soft hair after using this product. it is the best straightener i have ever had!! i would tell everyone to get this!!

I love this hair iron! I purchased it based on my friend's suggestions and Amazon reveiws. The CD detialing how do style your hair in other ways besides for straightening, is a little difficult to follow, but straightneing is a breeze and your hair comes out very smooth. I highly recommend it.

The ghd is amazing! It doesn't seem possible that it can heat up as fast as it does...15 - 20 seconds from the time you turn it on, until it is fully heated! It is light-weight, easy to handle, and leaves my frizzy, wavy, fine hair, silky smooth for days. It has caused no burning or damage to my hair, and leaves it super shiny.
